During Coachella season, I attended the POPSUGAR party at the Avalon hotel. The event was so cool and full of little nooks and crannies of different places to explore. My favorite was this little room that projected colorful shadows against a white backdrop. Needless to say I had way too much fun in that room making shadows.
Well afterwards, I headed to Walgreens to print out the photos. (Does anyone love Walgreens as much as me? It’s like my favorite store…no seriously.) It was so easy; I just made an account online and then uploaded them to the Walgreens Photo website and checked out. (You don’t pay until you pick them up.)
I did it late at night probably around 11pm and the photos were ready first thing in the morning around 8:55am. If you do it during store hours you can literally send them in and pick them up in about an hour! I haven’t printed photos in forever but let me tell you, back in the day, girl, I printed photos ALL DAY lol.
It made me nostalgic and brought me back to that feeling when you know you got photos developed and you’re excited to see how they turn out. I actually edited these photos in Photoshop first before sending them in to Walgreens because I really liked the color play. And that in turn inspired my DIY. Plain and simple, I just taped the photos together from the back and put them up in my little desk area of my room for a nice added pop of color.
Confession: I failed and still haven’t bought a marker to write something motivational on my whiteboard, but overall I like how my little desk situation is coming along! #sharelifeshappy
