There is a quote, “In order to be irreplaceable, one must be different.” It’s very old but lately people around me have been posting it a lot. I believe it’s an accurate statement but in my humble opinion many people take it the wrong way. I don’t think anyone ever has to try to be different, in fact when you “try” you end up doing the complete opposite because what are you trying towards? Probably something you already saw.
Being yourself is different enough and that’s what makes us irrecplacable. No one is you, no one has the all the same opinions, manerisms, skills, and talents as you.
Sometimes that’s the hardest thing to do because we live in a world where literally everyone’s lives and accomplishments are in our face daily and sometimes we can be influenced to do things that are not quiite “us.” But there is always the gut feeling that guides you and it’s always right. Because as marvelous as anyone else’s path seems, it’s not yours. I think if you listen to your intuition always then you are truly being yourself. And if you’re doing something you’re not 100% sold on, you should probably reevaluate why you are doing it.
So since I like to reword things I’m rewording this quote, “In order to be irreplaceable….be YOURSELF”…cause no one can compete with that!

I totally agree with you! It’s quite easy to tell when someone that actually looks extremely unordinary is not being true to self. Better not to try and just do what we feel like x
