We all know TOMS is an awesome brand all about giving back. So many times in fashion and retail in general I feel like we consume so much we forget that other people out there do not have even a mere fraction of the same luxuries. It’s nice to know that making a purchase with TOMS allows you to help someone less fortunate.
People get more sentimental around the holidays and it makes us want to give back even more. I think it’s because it is such a praised time of giving and spending time with family that we are hyper aware when other people can not benefit from the same pleasures. That’s why I really love what #TOMSforTarget is doing with it’s gift collection. For every TOMS for Target gift you buy they will provide one blanket via American Red Cross, one week of meals via Feeding America, or one pair of shoes via TOMS to those in need. It’s seriously like an added bonus to your Christmas shopping, there are so many perfect gift items and you literally get to give back in more than one way. I love the Holiday Season for that, it’s so cheerful and generous and happy and makes me all warm and tingly inside.
