Who is your favorite designer?
I always find it hard to answer that question because I love sooo many. There is something for me to admire, appreciate, and respect in every designers work. I think that is part of the reason I don’t have one specific style. But I will list the ones that I really keep up with: Givenchy, Prada, Prabal Gurung, Akris, Proenza Schouler,Ann Demeulemeester, Alexander McQueen, Balmain, Band of Outsiders, Junya Watanabe/Comme de Garcon, Celine, Rag & Bone, YSL, Chanel, Open Ceremony, Peter Som, Mary Katrantzuo, and Alexander Wang (sorry, that’s like every one! haha)
Where do you get your style inspiration?
I get my style inspiration from everyone, everything and everywhere. I take inspiration from homeless people, contemporary art, personal blogs, renaissance architecture, but most of all my feelings. I also take a lot of inspiration from menswear. Basically, from anything that will give it!
What is your favorite piece in your closet right now?
My favourite pieces are my Matiko “Ai for Ai” boots, my miu miu flats, my leather biker jacket, my doc martens, and my Dobbs fedora from the 60s (my great uncle past on his hats to me).
