I’m not the sappy type and I don’t feel the need to say everything on the internet but this man right here is so patient with me. He sees my ugly side and remains level headed, is always trying to make me better (even when I often resist), and is always thinking about ways to help me. I know for sure I don’t say this enough but I appreciate you. I thank God for you. You make me better.

When you ask for someone that will make you better you better know what you’re asking for. You’re asking for someone to challenge you daily, to point out your flaws (not in a degrading way), and to make you constantly review your thoughts and actions. THIS IS NOT AN EASY THING. It comes with a lot of self reflection and working on breaking habits that were instilled in you from childhood. But if you embrace it, if you understand it, then you come out the other end better and more fulfilled.
This goes for life in general, If you want to be better, if you want to be successful and wealthy and achieve your goals it comes with many challenges and many self reflecting moments and many CHANGES you need to make to unlock Gods blessings for you. So don’t ask to be better if you’re not ready to put the work in.
And don’t ask for a relationship if you’re not ready to work on yourself.
