For this post, I teamed up with Olay.
Getting ready for a special occasion is pretty much my least favorite thing to do. And lately, I’ve been so busy that the last thing I want to do is take forever to get ready. But I found a trick to get ready faster: good skin care. If your skin is looking flawless without makeup, then it doesn’t take that much makeup to take it to the next level and, in turn, cut your “get ready” time in half. I mean, the goal is to have your skin look equally great whether you’re wearing makeup or not, and if your skin-care regimen is on point then your makeup will be too!
Thanks to teaming up with Olay, I’ve recently been able to cut my preparation time in half, which is especially helpful on date night when the boy is waiting on me and I’m taking forever, per usual.
But honestly, my favorite way to go out on a casual night is sans makeup. Using Olay’s Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Eye Swirl and Micro-Sculpting Cream has brightened up my under-eye area in only a short time. I just massage a small amount of the eye swirl under my eyes in the morning and evening after I cleanse and before I moisturize. Super duper easy. Evening out the variations in my skin tone caused by under-eye circles was the main reason I wore makeup, but now that it’s starting to even out as a result of using these Olay products, I can often just throw on some eyeliner and mascara and just go!
After seeing Olay’s campaign with Michelle Jubelirer, COO of Capitol Music Group, and how she uses her Olay Regenerist products, it kind of inspired me in a way. Even though she has such a hectic life, she always has a cool and laid-back style, which has inspired me to not let my (not so hectic, but still hectic) life take over everything, and remember to be laid back and cool it sometimes.
Now I’m excited to go out on date night—and more excited that I feel good in my own skin without having to wear a ton of makeup!
For eyes that steal the spotlight, I turn to Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Eye Swirl Cream. Check out how record company executive Michelle Jubelirer uses it to look and feel her best.
