• BSO Presents: Project Debussy

I was excited to be invited to the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s annual Fashion Event. Similar to Project Runway, each year they have a “Project ______” filling the blank in with different composers. This year was in honor of composer Claude Debussy. Each designer was asked to create a piece based on inspiration from the music of Debussy. The designs were then displayed around the symphony for each observer to judge which was their favorite. Afterwards we were serenaded by the BSO to the music of Claude Debussy. The concert was exquisite and it was actually my first time seeing a performance in Symphony Hall and I know this is a duh moment but the acoustics were aaamazing. Following the show each design walked the runway and a panel of judges revealed the winner.
