Thursday I headed to Bottega Louie for an early lunch with Elizabeth. I always wanted to go there and was excited I finally was able to make a trip downtown to enjoy this popular hot spot. The ambiance reminded me so much of New York it was a little uncanny and it was so great to catch up with Elizabeth. I know I mentioned this before but I do feel blessed to have made so many friends in LA through blogging. I probably would only know two people if it wasn’t for this blog.
Ok, so everyone always post all these crazy desserts and macarons from Bottega Louie so of course I had to try. I parked on the street and forgot you can’t park on the street downtown after 3pm, but because I just HAD to have some macarons Elizabeth watched my car to make sure it wasn’t towed while I ran inside and got some dessert. Then we realized she left her phone inside so I had to find the manager to get her phone and then run to purchase a few macarons. I probably looked like a crazy frantic person the whole time. Thank God the car didn’t get towed but Elizabeth did say the tow guy gave her that look, (I’m assuming he was too lazy to actually tow it) and the macarons were so worth it!
