DSC08462Let’s talk about Andaz Peninsula Papagayo Resort in Costa Rica. If you are looking for a luxury stay that works for both family and bae-cations, this is the place. Nestled on the Andaz Peninsula in Costa Rica you will travel down a long road and end at this beautiful resort. The treat you with a pineapple-mint drink upon arrival which was the perfect refreshment for a day of travel and then top you off with a nice cold towel (the humidity in Costa Rica is real). It was raining when we arrived and they were so nice as to take all our luggage and shuttle us to our room.

There are employees in golf cart shuttle everywhere, matter fact because the property is so spread out if you don’t feel like walking you can call for one any time from your hotel phone. Amazing. The staff was ridiculously friendly and accommodating and they made it a point to remember your name.

Once you check into your room, you’re greeted by free snacks and water, which they replenished daily. And they even give you flip flops and hats for you to keep after your stay! If you want to head to the beach which is right behind the hotel, they even loan you a beach bag that stays in your room. We literally wanted for nothing.

DSC08429Now on to the best part… You may think it was the amazing adult only infinity pool that felt like you were swimming in the middle of the rainforest as howler monkeys swung above our heads. Or you might think it was the free beach activities included in your stay: paddle-boarding, kayaking, and snorkeling. Or you might even think it was the many activities they offer on site, including mixology classes, barista classes, an art space, a spa, a fitness center and many many more things (oh the things!).

But the best part was….THE FOOD. OH EM GEE. Slap your momma good! I’m still dreaming about it. The food was sooooo delicious. They have three restaurants on the premises and we ate at all of them! lol Ostra Restaruent has the best ceviche which is my favorite thing to eat btw, and they even let us make our own! And Chao Pescoa, a tapas restaurant with larger portions, was out of this world. I’m so serious guys soooooo good. And they have a full mixolgy bar to compliment your meal. I have to say Costa Rica in general makes the best mojitos. Every place we visited was beyond.

You don’t even need to leave this place. ever. But if you want some night life Coco Beach is just a drive away with bars and clubs for you to turn the night up.

In conclusion. Stay at Andaz Papagayo if you ever got to Costa Rica. You’re Welcome.
